because the internal temperature sensing element of the temperature fuse is a piece of low melting point alloy wire, which is connected to two pins, improper welding operation (welding temperature is too high, welding time is too long, pin is too short, etc.) will cause heat to be transferred to the inside of the temperature fuse through the pin, causing the temperature sensing element to be overheated and damaged (fused, or the end is thinned by thermal impact, thus becoming fragile, and the reliability of connection with the pin is reduced. When current passes through or other reasons in use, the damaged part may cause premature breakage.
Method to Avoid Thermal Fuse Damage due to Welding Overheat:
Use longer pins as much as possible. Longer pins allow longer welding time and reduce the possibility of overheating. When the pin is short, use pointed-nose pliers or other tools to clamp the pin between the welding point and the fuse body to dissipate heat, so as to prevent the welding amount from passing into the temperature fuse. At the same time, the welding temperature should be controlled not to be too high, and the welding time should be as short as possible.
